Special Afternoon of Faith,

Special Afternoon of Faith, Hope and Renewal. A special afternoon of faith, prayer and renewal will take place at Galway Cathedral on Saturday, 17th October 2026, from 1pm to 4.30pm. Open to all communities, races, backgrounds and walks of life, the afternoon will touch on forgiveness, addiction, drugs and alcohol, life struggles, returning to faith and finding hope through God. The programme will include Holy Mass celebrated by Fr John Gerard Acton, Confession, Eucharistic Adoration, music and personal testimonies, including Liam Stewart and others. There will also be veneration of more than 100 sacred relics, including relics associated with St Charbel, St Teresa of Calcutta (Mother Teresa), St Padre Pio and other saints. Whether you practise your faith, have been away for years, or simply wish to attend, everyone is welcome. Galway Cathedral, 17th October,  1pm – 4.30pm.
