We’re looking for an enthusiastic, confident and inspiring childcare professional to become the Deputy Manager of one of Galway’s largest Childcare Centres.
Working alongside our General Manager, you’ll play a key leadership role in helping to shape the daily operation of a thriving service caring for over 110 children and supported by a dedicated team of 24+ educators.
About the Role
As Deputy Manager you will:
⭐ Support the General Manager with the day-to-day running of the Centre and provide cover during their absence.
⭐ Inspire, mentor and support a large team of childcare professionals.
⭐ Ensure the highest standards of care, education and compliance are maintained.
⭐ Build strong relationships with children, families and colleagues.
⭐ Help drive a positive, supportive and professional team culture where everyone enjoys coming into work.

Essential Requirements
- Minimum QQI Level 7 (or recognised equivalent) in Early Childhood Care & Education.
- Experience working within an Irish Early Years setting.
- Strong knowledge of Aistear, Síolta, Tusla and DCEDIY regulations.
- Leadership or supervisory experience is highly desirable.
- Strong administration and IT skills.
- Knowledge of HIVE and NCS & ECCE Funding Schemes.
- Fluent English speaking
