Job title: Order Management Coordination Manager – 1 year FTC

Reporting into: Order Management Operations Director

Job location: Galway City

This opportunity is based within a global company with a Shared Service Centre in Galway City.

The successful candidate will have at least 5 – 10 year’s experience of managing and motivating a team.

This is a Fixed Term Contract for 1 year – Maternity Cover

The responsibilities of the successful Order Management Coordination Manager job applicant:

-Lead, manage & motivate the Order Management Coordination team
-Be the escalation point for the resolution of any issues on a day to day basis.
-Supervise all operational tasks set by the Order Management -Operations Director.
-Complete all appraisals and performance reviews for team members.
-Look closely at continuous improvement within the department and be able to implement new strategies.
-Work closely with other functions including finance, supply chain, and quality etc.
-Review and approve holiday requests.
-Review Sickness and absenteeism rates.
-Escalate issues to Management as quickly as possible.
-Ad hoc after hours support as required.
-Develop individual & team goals
-Interview & hire staff as required.

The experience and skills needed by the successful Order Management Coordination Manager job applicant:

-Bachelor’s degree or another relevant 3rd level qualification
-5-10 years of experience within a Management role within a busy customer services environment
-Proven experience of people & performance management
-Experience of IT systems
-Strong customer focus and business judgement
-Ability to deal with stressful situations & multiple conflicting priorities within a fast paced, constantly changing environment.
-Strong analytical & problem-solving ability
-Solid understanding of business processes & organizational structures.
-Strong “I can” attitude is a must.
-Fluency in English & a second European Language would be an advantage (though not essential).
