This role in Sunflower Crèche & Pre-school would ideally suit an early years educator who is dedicated to providing quality, inclusive child care, in a warm, nurturing and supportive environment. We are looking for a motivated educator to inspire and be part of a great team who work with children from 1year – 6years.
This is a full time position.
€23,660 per annum

• A minimum (or equivalent to) of NFQ Level 6 in Early Childhood Care and Education.
• Good organisational and teamwork skills
• Sound written and verbal communication skills
• A good understanding of Siolta and Aistear
• A kind, fun and nurturing disposition
• A love of working with pre-school children
• Motivated to participate in CPD
• Living in Ireland and available for interview
• Experience working with Children with additional needs and the ability to collaborate with outside agencies, Example; Early Intervention.

• Work as part of a team and be committed to challenging and resolving any difficulties
• Support staff, including any students working in the room
• Share openly and willingly without prejudice
• Communicate constructively and listen actively
• Participate in the development and delivery of curriculum founded on the centre's philosophies whilst following childcare regulations and Síolta and Aistear Quality Frameworks
• Create positive learning environments including resources based on child-directed learning
• Develop strategies to guide positive children's behaviour
• Build good, open communication with children, families, and staff
• Observe and record children's growth, development, and behaviour
